The digest/forum searches for pivot points between academia and on-the-ground work. It aims to make scholarly research accessible by summarizing key findings, with an eye toward arguments that might be useful to organizers, advocates and people who have criminal convictions. Where possible, the summaries link to a source where full articles/books can be accessed for free.

The digest/forum also facilitates strategic discussion among people working to challenge criminal records discrimination through analysis of the current political and legal landscape. Commenting in response to Forum posts and featured articles is encouraged.
